Visit Sarasota County
Visit Sarasota County is looking for engaging customer-service personalities with basic Sarasota County knowledge, the ability to stand and sit for short periods of time, and some minimal computer skills. During your 3-hour shift, you will have the opportunity to represent our beautiful area at our visitor centers in Sarasota (1945 Fruitville Road), Venice (597 S. Tamiami Trail), or at the Sarasota Bradenton Airport. There, you can share local tips, answer questions, and spread sunshine – perfect for anyone who loves talking about their favorite beaches, bites, and hidden gems.
You can also get involved with our Area Visitor Assistant, AVA – an RV that acts as a mobile visitor center – which serves as an extension of the tourism marketing organization. AVA brings helpful information and a warm welcome around the county at festivals, sporting events, or other activities! Volunteers play a key role in greeting guests, answering questions, and sharing all that Sarasota County has to offer. AVA volunteer opportunities are available to fit your schedule and your interests.
