Visit Sarasota County Welcomes Visitor Experiences Coordinator

Jennifer Dolgetta joins the local tourism bureau with more than a decade of customer service and hospitality operations experience.

From beach escapes to hidden gems, Jennifer Manzanilla Dolgetta is now a go-to guide as she steps into the role of Visitor Experiences Coordinator at Visit Sarasota County. Dolgetta will oversee the day-to-day operations and programming of the tourism bureau’s three Visitor Centers, promoting Sarasota County’s attractions, events, and amenities through both in-person and mobile visitor experiences.

Community outreach, volunteer recruitment and retention, and local business engagement will also be core functions of Dolgetta’s role. Much of which will be conducted from Visit Sarasota County’s AVA – an 18-foot “Area Visitor Assistant” RV – that acts as a mobile visitor center at community and sporting events, educating residents and the more than 3 million people who choose Sarasota County as their vacation destination.

“It’s rare to find someone like Jennifer who brings a wealth of local knowledge and such a breadth of customer service and hospitality experience,” said Erin Duggan, CDME, President and CEO of Visit Sarasota County. “We’re thrilled to welcome her to the team and see all the ways she’ll encourage our visitors and residents alike to feel at ease and chase their smile here in Sarasota County. I have no doubt her passion for people will take her far.”

Dolgetta will work with more than 20 volunteers and two part-time employees, Marjorie Broughton and Ursula Korman, who together bring decades of business operations and personnel management experience. Broughton joined the tourism bureau in the Fall of 2024, while Korman has tenure going back to 2016. Each are essential in ensuring the organization’s three Visitor Centers – in Downtown Sarasota, Venice, and at SRQ Airport – provide exceptional service to visitors and the Sarasota community.

A Sarasota native, Dolgetta joins Visit Sarasota County with nearly 13 years of customer service, hospitality operations, and training design experience. As the Customer Care Manager at First Watch Restaurants, Dolgetta built and led the team responsible for servicing customer inquiries and experiences for more than 570 restaurants nationwide, in addition to spearheading the creation of the organization’s intern and volunteer programs. Prior to joining First Watch’s corporate office, Dolgetta served as a Black Apron Trainer at the brunch brand’s local restaurants for seven years.
