Wine & Dine Your Way Around Sarasota County with this Year's 18th Annual Savor Sarasota

Mark your calendars for the most delicious time of the year in Sarasota, it’s almost time for the 18th annual Visit Sarasota County’s Savor Sarasota! Beginning Thursday, June 1st through Wednesday, June 14th, visitors and residents alike will be able to wine and dine their way around Sarasota area restaurants relishing multi-course meals.

Savor Sarasota is a two-week dining program that offers artfully crafted prix-fixe menus for both lunch and dinner. Lunch menus feature a two-course (appetizer and entrée) menu for $25 per person, and dinner menu features three courses (appetizer, entrée, and dessert) for $40 per person. Many restaurants will also offer menu “upgrades” and wine & spirit pairings to elevate the diner’s experience.


This year, there are several newcomers to the list of Sarasota restaurants including 481 Gourmet in the Rosemary District, Kona Grill at University Town Center, Grillsmith, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Maestrale Restaurant & Pizzeria in Sarasota, LobsterCraft on St. Armands, Lazy Lobster on Longboat and both Kacey’s Seafood in Sarasota.


“The menus are as diverse as our diners”, said Erin Duggan, Vice President of Visit Sarasota County, continuing “Our restaurants stepped up and created some impressive lunch and dinner menus this year, like Organic Farmer’s Table’s Mushroom French Dip, A Sprig of Thyme’s Canard Pyrenees, and Fin’s at Sharky’s Seafood Risotto. There are 45 plus restaurants for you to wine and dine your way around Sarasota.”
