Visit Sarasota County Set for Half-Day Hospitality Summit

Inaugural event will feature travel marketing insights, industry-leading speakers, and the tourism organization’s 2030 strategic plan

Visit Sarasota County (VSC) invites local hospitality partners and business leaders to learn how to tap into the Suncoast’s thriving tourism economy at its inaugural Indicators & Insights Summit, scheduled for November 19, 2024, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at The Ora.

The half-day hospitality gathering will cover how VSC’s tourism marketing has served residents and local business partners over the past year and give attendees a front-row seat to the organization’s five-year strategic plan for the region.

“We looked to our community and partners to determine what information we should be sharing to strengthen our collaborations and our community’s say and stake in the future of Sarasota County – and this summit is truly the result of that outreach,” said Erin Duggan, CMDE, President and CEO of Visit Sarasota County. “At this event, we will report on the latest research and market intelligence, hear from local experts on all sorts of topics related to hospitality, and unveil our strategic roadmap to 2030. All are welcome, so we hope you can join us!”

In addition to VSC’s leadership and marketing agencies, attendees will have the chance to connect with industry-leading speakers with expertise on crisis readiness, digital marketing, national and international sales, talent attraction and retention, research trends, sports, and more.
