
About the Chef
Executive Chef Austin Davis grew up in the kitchen. He spent his early years learning multiple cuisines under amazing chefs in Orlando. He proceeded to open multiple kitchens in Columbia, South Carolina where he acquired an expertise in using local farms to bring community and fresh ingredients to the table. He has now settled with his family in Englewood, Florida as the Executive Chef of Farlow's On The Water where he has been working for 8 years. Here he brings the South and Caribbean cuisines together in a seamless, delicious manner. He loves to excite people through his food, while also bringing back memories of people's homes and travels. Chef Austin is a natural born leader who strives to always continue learning through his culinary abilities, extreme drive for success and the importance of building relationships with people and our community. He will continue that excitement and drive for excellence as Farlow's On The Water opens their next venture late spring of 2025!
Chef's Favorite Menu Item
The owner shared many stories of spearing or catching triggerfish and cobia growing up in the Caribbean. I turned this passion into these two dishes, Martinique Cobia and Southern Style Triggerfish. I wanted them to represent the southern style with a Caribbean twist concept of the restaurant. They now have become two of our most recognized seafood entree dishes on the menu!
